2020年度より、きむらとしろうじんじんと取り組むプロジェクト「ちょちょまうヴァナキュラー（略称：ちょちょヴァナ）」は、2014年より取り組む「作業場＠旧今宮小学校」での活動をベースに、じんじんの言う「魅力の予感」を路上に持ち出し、作業場の外へと活動を展開していくものです。2021年度は、天下茶屋駅前の広場や大きな木のある空き地で開催した「ちょちょヴァナ」ですが、2022、23年度は、作業場を行なっている旧今宮小学校での展開となりました。前回も参加した今宮工科高校チーム、まち歩きツアーを企画した児童館の子どもたちに加えて、2023年度は建築を学ぶ大学生チームやじゃがピーパークのメンバーが新たに参画し、それぞれの妄想屋台（計14)を出展。じんじんの野点と共に、来場者を迎え入れました。ちょちょヴァナを毎年継続していくことで、子どもたちに妄想屋台が定着しつつあります。
2024年3月末にBreaker Projectは終了しましたが、＜ちょちょヴァナ＞の活動は、事務局メンバーにより引き継がれ実施されています。＜作業場＠旧今宮小学校＞と共に、今後もぜひご注目ください。https://chochovana.net/
"Chocohmau Vernacular" (abbreviated as "ChochoVerna") is a project developed together with artist Kimura Toshiro Jinjin since 2020. Based on "The Workplace" which has been active since 2014, the project seeks to expand its activity into the streets by bringing "a hunch that something fascinating is out there" into public space.
In 2021, the project stepped outside "The Workplace" and organised activities in locations such as the square in front of Tengachaya Station and an empty lot centred around a large tree. In 2022 and 2023, the project further developed at the former Imamiya Elementary School site, home to "The Workplace."
Participants included the Imamiya Technical High School team and children from the local children's centre, who organised a walking tour, both of whom had taken part the previous year. They were joined by a newly participating group of university students majoring in architecture, as well as members of Jyagapi Park. Altogether, fourteen Mouso-Yatai stalls were presented alongside Kimura's Nodate performance.
By continuing ChochoVerna annually, "Mouso-Yatai" has gradually become a familiar presence among local children.
The former Imamiya Elementary School site has served as the home of "The Workplace" since the school's closure in 2015. The Breaker Project has been developing activities there with the aim of creating a base for creative practices open to the local community.
Although the Breaker Project concluded at the end of March 2024, activities of ChochoVerna continue through the efforts of the project office members. We look forward to seeing how this initiative as well as the activities at The Workplace @Former Imamiya Elementary School Site will continue to evolve in the future. https://chochovana.net/

美術家。1967年新潟県生まれ、京都府在住。京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科で陶芸を学ぶ。1995年より「野点—焼立器飲茶美味窯付移動車」を全国各地で開催している。2008年には、参加者がオリジナルの屋台を制作し、各々の「魅力の予感」をまちの路上に持ち出す「野点2008＋妄想屋台祭り」(水戸芸術館主催)を水戸市内各所で開催。2010〜2013年度には東京アートポイント計画の一環として、一般社団法人「谷中のおかって」とともに東京都台東区谷中界隈を舞台にこども創作教室「ぐるぐるミックス」の立ち上げに関わる。
「野点（のだて）」とは
きむらとしろうじんじんが全国各地で展開する「野点」は、大小2台のリヤカーに、陶芸窯・素焼きのお茶碗・うわぐすりなどの陶芸道具一式と、お抹茶セット一式を積んでまちの様々な場所に あらわれる移動式カフェ - 旅回りのお茶会。素焼きの器にその場で絵付けをし、楽焼き（らくやき）という方法で焼きあげられた自作のお茶碗でお茶を楽しむことができる。
